Just spotted both Series 1 and 2 of Life on Mars for £9.97 each at Tesco Entertainment.
Series 1 will be "Usually dispatched within a month" but Series 2 is "In stock | Usually dispatched within 24 hours".... Fire up the plastic!

Just to answer the above question, there is a discussion topic on the Amazon web page asking the exact thing. Some kind soul has already contacted Amazon and the reply was that the 3 for 2 promotion was always intended to run until 3rd August. Can't say I was aware of this though!
