Is it me or has the
Amazon 3 for 2 promo
been pulled?
Just to answer the above question, there is a discussion topic on the Amazon web page asking the exact thing. Some kind soul has already contacted Amazon and the reply was that the 3 for 2 promotion was always intended to run until 3rd August. Can't say I was aware of this though!
OK thanks
Now makes their blu-ray prices very ordinary
Might be worth a punt if you're an optimist, OOS at Shopto: "Delivery:Will be dispatched as soon as we receive the product."

Harry Potter - Years 1-6 Blu Ray

Out 7th December just in time for xmas. Currently at £39.99 at HMV, Amazon, Play And Zavvi
Not to bad for this 7 disk blu ray collection
Cheers

^ Not bad, but just keep in mind there's another two films coming. AND even if you're desperate to buy the set now, it's also worth knowing that there are ultimate editions of 1 and 2 coming in december. The one big complaint people have had about the bluray harry potters is that the transfer on the first two films isn't brilliant, so it might be worth waiting.
That said, 6 films for £40 isn't bad either.
The Matrix Trilogy, back in stock @ £16.98/9 at Amazon/HMV
Next best is £27.99 and OOS at Shopto
I saw this for the very first time a few months back, truly great filmaking. Though it must be said, I'll never hear "Stuck in the middle with you" by Steelers Wheel in quite the same way, ever, ever again.
Reservoir Dogs £6.98/99 at Amazon/HMV
Next best is £8.85 at Zavvi
Good to know about the Harry Potter Blu-ray 1-6 coming out at a decent price, thanks for posting and good point on the possible negatives too. That was one long wait to see Reservoir Dogs Rob, glad you enjoyed though, that song's certainly been changed forever now.

I had the U.S. briefcase (5 disc edition) Blu-ray set for ages, left unwatched, and finally began watching it in Summer this year(I was a Blade Runner virgin) - and has since been my most played film of the year.

Year One and
Angels and Demons.
Thanks for that ckt1, the new titles are definitely cheaper than elsewhere in this deal.
Not exactly a cheapo, may interest one or two though.

Nice little offer on a new Blu-ray. Though I doubt the extra visual clarity will add much over an SD DVD. 90% of the film is shot in documentary fashion, and is intentionally ragged and unglamourous throughout - and I'm also not sure if some of the CGI work(particularly the 'prawns') will look any better under HD scrutiny. Let's hope it has loads of exclusive bonus features.
