I was just about to post the Shopto offer of £37.85 for this major new release, then found 2 prices that beat that. Great post
One of my only bugbears with the Wii was the way that you could just move the wiimote's a tiny amount (say when boxing) and you could still land all the moves once you knew what the little movements were. Hopefully the motion plus will put an end to that and more accurately track your whole arm movement for a more realistic experience. -

Yeah it's always been a little inprecise, can't help but feel a bit random when you're playing baseball or tennis etc. It sounds like it will add alot more depth to using a Wiimote.
Strange to think the Wii as a console has been around since November 2006, so it's probably the best part of 4-5 years old inside, hence the new technology available. Nintendo have always had a great knack of leaving themselves the option of updating their consoles and controllers, even going right back to the early-mid 80's Famicon/NES days, when they ruled the roost with a relatively antiquated console for it's time.
Yet, there they are leading the console market with a vastly underpowered console up against the relative behemoths that are the PS3 and 360. Sounds familiar!
Just a shame that most people need to buy so many of the Motionplus's. I got a Wii myself, as does my wee sister, I'll probably need to buy 3 of the darned things!

Good points there, hard to believe the console hasn't changed in so long. Nintendo are one of those rare companies that just seems to 'get it' right off the bat. Which in turn means they also get lots of our moolah...

Good preorder price for one of '09s PS3 big guns, the early previews have been exceptional. The first one was a great game, loads of fun - despite it's many faults and is one of the few games I've seen through to completion in recent years.

Anyone who has me as a 'friend'(on PS3) will regularly see me across the PSN, (usually pulling my hair out) playing expert mode on the guitar and drums

If anything, the Rock Band games' tracklistings are even better than the Guitar Hero games - at least more varied and maybe more interesting, imo. 84 Songs featured, with 20 more free songs downloadable, featuring lesser known tracks/artists.
This game has had a recent drop in price, I'd been holding off buying it as it's been up around the £38 mark since before last Christmas - works with the Guitar Hero World Tour Band set aswell(above). Well worth investing if you already own the peripherals.
