Thanks Jake, looked for an HMV exclusive (there isn't one) but forgot to check Play, nice wee play set for kids. 3 disc edition's tempting from Amazon, good chance they'll drop the price more at some point too so would get the lower price... tempting. Meanwhile I'm off to figure out that jigsaw ...

If you could pre-order in £s at Amazon US
I would recommend doing that, with the pound
in freefall against the dollar, but you can’t.
So it is likely to cost more due to less $ to the £,
come November when they charge you (they charge when they ship).

My tip is to buy in pounds at Amazon US/Amazon Market Place
so if a shipment is delayed you dont lose out due
    to weakening exchange rate.
(obviously for that reason thats why you cannot buy
in pounds on pre-orders at Amazon US)

Good point, hadn't taken that into account for pre-orders.

    Just thinking aloud.

Is worth doing a pre-order on the UK ones
as these are Ltd edition and if prices drop
between now and their release dates, retailers
like HMV and Amazon UK honour the cheaper price.

Will wait and see exchange rate in November
for R1 release, but I will put it in my basket
to get notified of any price drop.

Economists (so called) are predicting a drop to $1.65 to the pound
but its already $1.76 to the pound and in free fall:face-angry:
    Was $2.10 not long ago:face-angry:

Just spotted a good price for the Wall-E DVD at HMV if you don't mind waiting a bit for it. It says 'back in stock in 7 days' but will let you order it at the current price.

    Wall-E (2 Disc Sepcial Edition) - £7.49 at HMV

Next cheapest DVD (with stock) - £13.18 at Amazon
