    Play £5 Promo
I think they get a bit of unfair stick elsewhere for their £5 Sales
but still a number cheaper than elsewhere on first couple of pages
A few Amazon are trying to undercut by 2p!
    (though Play is postage free).

30 Days of Night SE 2-disc with booklet
    Saw 4
    Control
    Once
    Rescue Dawn
    Charlie Wilson’s War
    Lions For Lambs
    Black Sheep (awful film)
    We Own The Night
    Lust Caution
Stanley Kubrick Collection 3 film boxset
All pretty good value at £5 delivered
though I wouldn’t recommend Black Sheep
    even if it were free

Play is also one of the few retailers left I trust (them and HMV)
having got stacks of DVDs in @@@@ condition recently
which is why I am not posting so much now

    Thankful People: grant

I watched Black Sheep a while ago. To be honest I knew from the start what sort of thing to expect and I did give me a few laughs just for the fact that it was so terrible !!

Didnt think a film could be as bad as Black Sheep for me,
but actually saw a film last night that was so bad
it was way past the so bad its good badometer level of badness.

Probably one of the worst films ever made:

    •REC £9.97

A subtitled spanish horror (allegedly) film where a camera crew
follow a fire crew into a Barcelona apartment block
which is then sealed off due to a viral contamination within.

I actually felt sick through most of this film, not because of the
dreadfully done cheap looking gore effects, or the lousy jittery effect of the hand held camera (POV) but because of the most annoying actress ever screaming continuously into the lens:face-angry:
She was the only scary bit about it I could find.

Sorry Black Sheep but •REC (now gets my vote),
makes me angry I actually spent money on this (litter bin icon):face-angry:

Is there a film worse than this?

The worst film I've EVER seen has to be Night Train to Venice, starring Hugh Grant. It's so bad, it's not even listed on this site, although it is available from Amazon.

I don't know what Mr Grant was doing in this film. The plot is completely nonsensical, and features obscure imagery such as the sudden appearance of ferocious dogs for no reason whatsoever, as well as Venetians in strange masks, and cross-dressing Neo-Nazis (sounds funny but its not... it's just plain weird). The film is notable for a very early appearance from Rachel Rice who is a contestant in the current series of Big Brother (not that I watch it - honest :face-grin: ).

    :face-cool:

A film so bad its cool compo:face-cool:
or a so bad its off the richter scale and
only good enough to throw at Gordon Brown
    and his wonderful credit crunch:face-angry:

Shall look forward to this with interest Meeesta Grant
